Nowadays, due to the advantages of UV printers its wide range of applications, can be printed on a variety of materials. Since its introduction it has been widely favored by everyone, but there are some friends who say that after the UV printer is printed, the pattern on it peels off a little scratch. Even if there is a good printing effect, but without a long shelf life, it is not helpful. So why do these situations occur?
There are four ways to improve UV printer adhesion:
First, UV ink
UV printers have special inks, which are divided into soft ink, hard ink and neutral ink. Different materials use different inks. The quality of ink on the market now varies. The cheaper the ink, the worse its quality, compatibility and adhesion, resulting in damage to the Ricoh nozzle and the greater the likelihood of nozzle clogging.
Solution: When you don't know which UV ink to choose or when the UV ink runs out, you can directly consult the original manufacturer to purchase it. Flatbed printer manufacturers choose UV ink after a long period of testing, to a large extent, to ensure the quality of the ink.
Second, environmental factors
Printer printing environment humidity is too high, will cause the material surface moisture; ink printing is not easy to completely dry, affecting the quality of printing.
Solution: When the UV flatbed printer working environment is too low, especially in winter, the printed pattern is easy to crack and peel. Conditional workshops need to install air conditioning, so that the indoor temperature is not less than 15 ℃. At the same time, to avoid humid environments, when the humidity in the air exceeds 70%, the moisture is easy to condense on the printed material, resulting in poor adhesion.
Third, the problem of ultraviolet light
In the printing process, if the power of the LED lamp is too low, the ultraviolet light can not be completely cured ink on the surface of the material, so the adhesion of the pattern will be poor.
Solution: replace the UV lamp with higher power.
Fourth, printing paint
If printing on some materials with smooth surface and poor adhesion, it is necessary to paint the surface of the material, and different materials should be coated with the corresponding paint.
